Dear Mell & the All Boro family,
You belong to the pantheon of support created to help Rev. Dr. Eugene Purvis and his wife, Dr. Sylvia Purvis.
This true American hero served his country during the Second World War. Drafted in his teens from a humble home where The Lord ruled, he was taken to the Island of Saipan where he demonstrated heroism, was wounded, and survived Japanese air attacks. He dared to disobey orders by bringing food to the starving women & children of that island. Such acts defined the rest of a life spent helping others. After the war, he went to college, received a PhD in Theology, became a minister in the AME Zion Church where he presided for many years, always helping the poor. His faith in God was his guiding light.
He married Sylvia, already an optometrist and they had three sons. Together, they operated a Montessori School in Freeport where they stressed character and applied unconditional love and insight to emphasize the worth of every child, regardless of race, color, or cultural background. Self-esteem followed. This helped countless children to land on their feet and follow their example. Recently both Purvises began to decline physically. They required external help. There are many people to thank for the time, love and fundraising extended to this deserving couple. Modifications, home repairs, special equipment, emotional and financial support was provided, to make them comfortable at home.
An infestation of raccoons had begun to occupy their attic. Occasionally, they wandered downstairs. Stressful, to say the least. After their homeowner’s policy would not cover the cost of this significant task, we were fortunate to locate All Boro. All Boro eliminated this dangerous infestation then generously waived a significant unpaid balance. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. It takes a village. Together, we celebrate the Purvises lifelong contributions to country and community.
Rev. Purvis passed away last week, at 97. His wife is currently hospitalized, and we pray for her speedy recovery and return home.

Dear Mr. Goldman, More than one year has passed since we engaged your company in the horrendous job of clean-up after a fire that occurred on the 9th floor in August ’03.
The service you provided was done quickly, efficiently and with extreme sensitivity to the elder/handicapped people who live in our development. Even when you were not on-site, you were always easily reachable. That asset in today’s business world is definitely a plus. All Boro has just completed a renovation in a townhouse I recently moved into. The renovation included a new bathroom, painting, redoing my bannisters, replacing doors, and various electrical and other projects. The entire project was done professionally, and beautifully. The outcome was truly amazing. What was also terrific is that I felt I was listened to and my opinions were respected. I was always kept informed about how things were going and made aware of any issues.
One of the best things was that they finished on time and the cleanup was fantastic. You would not know they had been in my house. All in all, I would highly recommend All Boro for any renovation.
All Boro Cleaning Services has been cleaning for us since July of this year. Although this interior of our building is only four years old, it was starting to look very run down due to poor performance of our past maintenance people.
Meeting with the representative from All Boro was very refreshing. We could tell that they really took pride in their work. As soon as they started cleaning for us, our building started looking new and well cared for. They recently stripped and waxed our floors, and they came out looking great. The two women that clean for us are very polite and careful. They are extremely reliable, and are always agreeable to do any extra cleaning that we need. Anytime we have called the office they have been very pleasant and helpful.

All•Boro completed two jobs that I was directly involved in and one indirectly. The first being the makeover of our home kitchen, the second a recommendation for a buildout of an apartment for snowbird friends and the third a redo of the bathrooms at the AHRC Work Center in Freeport. All three of these projects were completed in a timely manner with the greatest of care and professionalism. As President of the Board of Directors of AHRC Nassau, I recently was sent photos of the completed bathrooms at the Work Center. They are absolutely beautiful! The bathrooms were in dire need of a makeover and I am sure our individuals who work at and attend programs at the Work Center will be thrilled when they finally return once the COVID-19 virus situation is under control. The makeover of our home’s kitchen from rip-out to completion was accomplished professionally with attention to detail. Yes, there were some minor bumps along the way but each time, your staff reached quickly to correct any problems fairly and equitably. Your staff was courteous at all times and always left the site clean and safe at the end of each day. The buildout of the apartment was not a job I was directly involved in but did have many conversations with the individuals who would be staying there. I recommended All•Boro to them after they visited our home and saw the work that was accomplished in our kitchen. Each and every time I spoke with them during the buildout, they had nothing but good things to say about your company and employees. I visited the apartment upon completion and I must say it was amazing to see the finished product.
You should be proud of the work that was accomplished at these three sites. I have worked as a project inspector for an engineering company and site supervisor for a construction company and know how difficult it can sometimes be to please the client. In these three cases, you did exactly that! I would not hesitate to recommend All•Boro to anyone.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You made a very difficult situation so much easier, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work your company did.
When I went to my mother’s house on the weekend after that week of rain, I never expected to see 8 inches of water in her basement. I knew it was going to be a major problem to get my mother to agree to not only get the basement pumped, but also to clear out all the moldy “stuff” she had accumulated over her 50+ years in that house. My mother doesn’t like to throw anything away, and is very uneasy having strangers in the house.
I also knew it was going to be tough not only for me, but also for whomever I hired, to get my 3 sisters to agree about what needed to be done.
You were so patient with all of us. You were accessible, and answered all of our questions. Both your office staff and the men who worked at her house were very professional and pleasant. You were reliable, and always called to let us know when either you or your people would be arriving.

All Boro Cleaning Services has completed several jobs such as cleaning our compactor chutes in 2 of our buildings in Garden City, and has been punctual on his starting times and finishing times.
He has also done carpet cleaning in our building and the job was performed very well, without any delays and very satisfactory.
