All Boro Inc. Celebrates Successful Partnership at Options’ Second Murder Mystery Event

All Boro Inc. proudly participated in Options for Community Living, Inc.’s (Options) second Murder Mystery Event, “I Love the 80s to Death,” held at Mulcahy’s Pub and Concert Hall in Wantagh. Mell Goldman, a longtime patron of Options and a representative of All Boro Inc., was featured as a key participant in this year’s fundraiser. The event, organized by The Murder Mystery Company, offered guests an evening of dining, refreshments, and interactive sleuthing as they worked together to unmask the culprit. It was a night of laughter, intrigue, and meaningful fundraising, drawing 139 attendees and raising over $56,000 to support Options’ vital programs for vulnerable Long Islanders.
Yolanda Robano-Gross, CEO of Options for Community Living, Inc., expressed heartfelt gratitude to sponsors and guests. “Your generous support helps people who are diagnosed with mental illness and other chronic illnesses live with dignity in the community, and we are incredibly thankful.”
Among the evening’s highlights was a poignant testimonial from Paul Ferretti, an Options housing resident and agency peer service provider for individuals living with mental illness. Paul recounted his life’s “highs and lows,” including overcoming substance use and a debilitating stroke. “It’s been a journey,” Paul shared. “I didn’t have the drive or energy to pick up and start over again, but every step of the way there was Options with me. I don’t know where I’d be without them.”
The event concluded with the announcement of raffle basket and silent auction winners, along with awards for the “Best Dressed,” “Best Suspect,” “Best Performer,” “Best Detectives,” and “Worst Detectives.” The enthusiastic participation and generosity of sponsors and attendees made the event a “phenomenal success,” stated Robano-Gross. “We are already discussing plans for next year’s event and what the theme will be. Stay tuned!”
All Boro Inc. is honored to support such a significant cause and looks forward to continuing its partnership with Options to improve the lives of vulnerable individuals and families on Long Island.
