Tropical Storms:
- It’s a tropical cyclone.
- It has max sustained surface winds of 39-73mph (34-63 knots).
- It forms with warm water and humid conditions.
- As hurricanes tropical storms also drop 6 inches to a foot of rain
When a watch is issued this means that the storms pose a possible threat. When a warning is issued this means the storm is expected to drop. A storm of any kind has the potential to do damage to your home.
